Day : 01 Arrive Zurich onto Lugano
On arrival in Zurich, you will walk across to the Flughafen Airport train station (located adjacent to the airport) for your train to Lugano, the Italian speaking town in the south of Switzerland.
Use your Swiss Travel pass to travel from Zurich to Lugano.
On arrival in Lugano, proceed to the hotel.
The rest of your day is at leisure. Lugano Italian speaking town is bound to reveal the romantic and inspire the photographer in you, so don't forget your camera - the opportunities are endless!
To familiarize you with Swiss heritage and culture, we recommend that the best way to see Lugano is by foot.

Day : 02 Lugano
Excursion to Swiss Miniatur (On your own).
Swiss miniature is Switzerland on a smaller scale. There are 120 models of houses, castles and monuments in the open air, distributed throughout the 14,000 square meter park. The models have been recreated authentically - with great attention to detail - and are surrounded by thousands of plants and flowers.

Day : 03 Lugano - Zermatt
This morning, transfer to the train station.
Use your Swiss Travel pass to travel from Lugano to Zermatt.
On arrival, proceed to the hotel in Zermatt.
Enjoy the rest of your day relaxing in this most spectacular of settings.

Day : 04 Zermatt - Montreux
Then, transfer to the train station for your train to Montreux. Travel by train to Montreux.
The morning is at leisure in this car-free resort where horse drawn carriages are the only vehicles you will see.

Day : 05 Montreux
Full day visit to Glacier 3000 (On your own).
Today, escape to the high Alps for a breath of pure crisp air and eye-popping mountain vistas. Take a breathtaking cable-car ride to the top of Glacier 3000 and catch stunning views of 24 four-thousand-meter high alps. From the Pillon Pass, the cable car goes up to 3,000 metres in 15 minutes. At the top, you will forget everything. The view of the all-year-round snow and the impressive mountain chains is mind-blowing. Further down, the valleys of French-speaking Switzerland and the Bernese Oberland regions are fascinating. The Alpine Coaster, at the summit station, is the world's highest railway-sledge installation. The one-kilometre descent, comprises 520° of looping, ten curves, six waves, three jumps and two bridges. (The Alpine Coaster is open between May and end-September). Day : 06 Montreux - Interlaken
This morning, transfer to the train station.
Travel by train to Zweisimmen using your Swiss rail Pass. Continue on the Golden Pass Panoramic train to Interlaken. The Golden Pass Line is one of the most picturesque train rides in Switzerland. You will pass through a setting of alpine forests, bubbling mountain streams and picturesque mountain villages… before you arrive at Interlaken with its Mediterranean ambience..
On arrival in Interlaken, proceed to your hotel. The town of Montreux nestles in a sheltered Lake Geneva bay, surrounded by vineyards and against the breathtaking backdrop of snow-covered Alps. Along the lake promenade, piano and jazz bars, discos and Switzerland's oldest casino, mingle with hotels and restaurants.

Day : 07 Interlaken
Excursion to Schilthorn (On your own).
This morning, travel from Interlaken to Murren, from where you will get to the 2970 meter Schilthorn/Piz Gloria mountain top by cable car in 32 minutes. As the longest aerial cableway in the Alps, the Schilthorn provides the most unimpeded panoramic views. Over 200 mountain peaks in a spectacular landscape are revealed as the world's first revolving mountain top restaurant slowly turns. For James Bond fans, the Schilthorn was transformed into the "Piz Gloria" for the filming of "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". Day : 08 Interlaken - Depart Zurich
Today you will travel by train from Interlaken train station. Travel by train to Zurich. On arrival, proceed to the airport for your flight back home
